On March 26, 2001 Officer Jason Schechterle was, with lights and
sirens on, en route to a dead body call. While stopped at a red
light waiting for traffic to pass so he could safely continue on,
he was rear ended by a vehicle going 115mph.
The story Jason will share today is about his journey to recovery
and so much more. Jason shares his story about becoming a better
person through this accident, the challenges and joys of marriage
and his life today, more than 20 years later. Today, we hear
Jason's story of taking a leadership role in his own life.
